
Spicy Garlic Parm Tofu Skewers
Ingredients
- Ingredients:
- 1 block extra firm tofu cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- Sauce:
- 1 stick vegan butter 8 tbsp
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 2 tsp crushed red pepper
- 8-10 cloves garlic minced
- ½ cup fresh parsley chopped
- ¼ cup nutritional yeast
- ¼ cup vegan Parm
Instructions
- Before you start, make sure to soak your wooden skewersin water for at least 30 minutes or use metal skewers.Slice your tofu into approximately 1 inch cubesand add the tofu to a bowl. Add the spices and oil and toss to coat well. Placeabout 5-6 pieces of tofu on each skewer.Air fry the tofu at 400° F for about 5 minutesHeat a small pan over medium heat. Add thebutter and let it melt a bit. Add the hot sauce, Red pepper, garlic , cheese,nutritional yeast and parsley, cook for 1 to 2 minutesSpread a layer of the sauce on the tofu and airfry at 400° F for another 5 minutesFlip the tofu over add dome sauce to the otherside and air fry at 400° for 5 minutes moreRemove the tofu from the air fryer and add afinal coating of the sauce .
